Dr. Mitchell is a native of Kansas City and obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Rockhurst University. He then received his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Johns Medical Center in St. Louis. Dr. Mitchell is a board certified OBGYN with a special interests in Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery with the DaVinci System. Dr. Mitchell is married with 5 children and 4 of them are following his example and are also in various stages of medical training. He enjoys spending time with his family, working on home improvement projects, and is also an avid bicyclist. He really enjoys the practice of medicine and feels there is nothing better than handing a brand new baby to the parents for the first time.
