Maxwell R. Magee, MD

Dr. Maxwell Magee is originally from Leawood, KS. He attended the University of Iowa where he received a bachelors of science in Integrative Physiology and medical school at the University of Kansas where he received his medical degree. He then completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix at Banner University Medical Center. Dr Magee is trained in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, but he chose OB/GYN because of his interest in both obstetrical and gynecological conditions. Dr Magee is a proud husband to his wife, Michaela, and father to their two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his two dogs, performing DIY home projects, getting outdoors, and traveling. Dr. Magee was born at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission himself and looks forward to helping bring the next generation into the world. He is excited to be able to stay in Kansas City to pursue his women’s health career, and especially to be able to practice with his father, Dr. Michael Magee.
